JACOB “ZEKE” SZEKELSKY SOARS TO VICTORY AT THE 2026 IFORGET AIRSHOW!

Huntington Beach, California – July 11, 2026

The third annual iForget Airshow delivered pure chaos and jaw-dropping aerial action yesterday at 9th Street in Huntington Beach. Fueled by the spirit of the West Coast punk band iForget and streamed live by The Couch Surfing Show, this invitational event brought together over 50 of the gnarliest aerial specialists on the planet. Surfers launched massive airs, rotations, and innovative flips right in front of a hyped crowd at one of surfing’s most iconic breaks.

And the winner? None other than Jacob “Zeke” Szekelsky.

The professional surfer, 2018 NSSA National Champion, and self-proclaimed wavepool wizard put on a masterclass in aerial surfing. From the moment the event kicked off, Zeke was in his element — reading the waves perfectly, timing his launches with surgical precision, and delivering airs that had the commentators and crowd losing their minds.

A Performance for the Ages

Zeke didn’t just compete — he dominated. His runs featured towering launches, clean rotations, and creative variations that pushed the boundaries of what’s possible in ocean waves. While other competitors threw down impressive moves (including some buzzer-beater highlights that kept everyone on the edge of their seats), Zeke’s consistency, amplitude, and style sealed the deal.

One particularly memorable moment came late in the event when he unleashed a massive air that looked like it belonged in a wavepool highlight reel — except this was real, raw Huntington Beach swell. The crowd erupted. The energy was electric.

Who Is Jacob “Zeke” Szekelsky?

For those who don’t know, Zeke has been a standout in the surf world for years. The La Jolla native turned pro and quickly earned a reputation as one of the most creative and fearless aerialists around. Whether he’s sessioning the famous wavepools in Texas or hunting novelty waves like ferry rides in New York, Zeke brings an all-or-nothing approach that makes every session must-watch.

His 2018 national title was just the beginning. Since then, he’s continued to innovate, film epic edits, and prove that big airs aren’t just for contests — they’re his signature.

What Makes the iForget Airshow Special?

Unlike traditional surf contests focused on turns and barrels, the iForget Airshow celebrates pure aerial freedom. It’s raw, it’s rowdy, and it’s exactly what you’d expect from a Huntington Beach punk-surf collaboration. Sponsors like Futures Fins, Lost Surfboards, HSS, and others helped make it happen, and the live stream captured every epic moment for the global surf community to enjoy.

This year’s edition lived up to the hype — “the annual airshow nobody else is doing.”

Congrats, Zeke!

Winning the iForget Airshow 2026 is a massive achievement in a field stacked with talent. It cements Jacob “Zeke” Szekelsky’s status as one of the premier aerial surfers on the planet right now.

Whether you caught the live stream, were there in person, or are just seeing the clips now — this one was special.

What’s next for Zeke? More airs, more innovation, and probably another insane edit dropping soon. Keep an eye on his Instagram (@zeke_) and YouTube for the full story.

Huge congrats to Jacob Zeke Szekelsky — today the skies belonged to you.
